About the role:

This role is focused on the development and execution for the capital equipment and software strategy within our Imaging Systems franchise. This Principal Product manager will help advance our innovation and next generation capital and service to help prepare us for commercial launch.

Your responsibilities will include:



  • Lead the creation and drive the fulfillment of marketing plans and upcoming new product commercialization plans while partnering with global, cross-functional team members.
  • Serve as a clinical expert and functional advisor to external and internal customers. Develop strong relationships with multiple US and Global KOLs to help validate commercialization plans.
  • Partner cross-functionally and with the Market Development and R&D teams, in their efforts to establish Imaging clinical unmet needs within our customers' hospitals.
  • Provide timely financial analysis and direction highlighting customer insights while identifying gaps in our portfolio.
  • Gain alignment with global Franchise stakeholders on new marketing strategies and opportunities.
  • Partner with global, cross-functional team members to support execution of franchise commercialization plans and approved projects while ensuring key requirements are achieved.
  • Take leadership in the Imaging System team and execute with speed and quality.
  • Track performance against objectives and plans, formulating new approaches and strategies as needed, including contingency plans for critical tactical plans.
  • Identify best practices to address key business challenges and opportunities.
  • Use classic marketing capabilities: market understanding, market segmentation, product positioning, message development, channel identification, tool and communication creation and execution to further business objectives.
  • Exhibit professional maturity and help to foster an open, challenging, stimulating and positive environment that enables colleagues to be their best.



Required qualifications:



  • BA/BS
  • 5 + years of medical device or product launch experience
  • Capital equipment and/or software upgrade commercialization experience
  • Upstream marketing or R&D within the new product development lifecycle experience
  • Ability to travel ~33% travel (international included)



Preferred qualifications:



  • Master's/MBA
  • Medical device experience in GI or space
  • Demonstrated success working as an integral cross functional team member
  • Ability to develop deep clinical expertise in medical device product line.
  • Demonstrated success supporting and/or managing complex projects.
  • Ability to collaborate and work with others in a dynamic, matrix environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Maximum Salary: $243000

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) - see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
