Director, Admissions Training and Development

PURPOSE STATEMENT:

The Director, Admissions Training & Development is responsible for training, developing, and coaching the Regional Admissions and Corporate Admissions Specialists upon hire and throughout the course of their employment under the guidance of the Vice President of Admissions. The Director will be responsible for the development and execution of new-hire training programs, progression training programs, and leadership development training programs for growth and development. The Director will work in coordination with the VP of Admissions and Regional Directors to identify individuals in need of development and/or improvement and will devise, deliver, and oversee the development plan through remote one-on-one and group training and coaching. The Director will work closely with the VP, and Regional Directors to identify and develop collateral that will support the daily function of the these employees.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develops and provides multi-phase training for newly hired Regional Admissions and Corporate Admissions Specialists in the areas of: utilizing Salesforce CRM, telephony systems, benefit verification tools, general admission functions, efficient processes, and meeting the needs of our clients.
  • Develops with VP and Regional Directors educational materials, training agendas and checklists for one-on-one and group training to educate new employees.
  • Works in coordination with VP and Regional Directors to create improvement plans for those tenured employees in need of development in specific areas.
  • Develops and delivers on-going training to employees on topics that will introduce and improve volume, performance, teamwork, and leadership.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree, counselor certification, or RN nursing license required; Three plus years' experience in healthcare-related admissions preferred.
  • Master's Degree in Human Services Field preferred with three plus years' experience in healthcare-related admissions preferred.
  • Two years of work experience in a Behavioral health facility preferred.
