Bowling Green Brandywine, an adult residential drug and alcohol recovery center located in Kennett Square, PA, has an immediate opening for a Clinical Tech Manager

Job Description

Under the supervision of the Clinical Director, the Clinical Tech Manager is responsible for the monitoring of all patients and the supervision of all direct care staff on all shifts. The Clinical Tech Manager is responsible for providing support to the Clinical Staff as needed to ensure that a safe and therapeutic environment is maintained. The Clinical Tech Supervisor assumes responsibility in coordination with the Program Director for the scheduling of Direct Care Staff. Clinical Tech Supervisor is also responsible for risk management duties and house management duties as assigned. Hours may vary, some weekends and holidays required




  • Directs staff supervision during their scheduled shifts.
  • Completes the weekly staff schedule and submits to Director for approval
  • Evaluates technician staff and initiates disciplinary actions
  • Monitors all unit activities during their scheduled shifts.
  • Provides necessary support and counseling for those patients requesting to leave AMA during their shifts and coordinates all discharges with the assigned counselor or Program Director
  • Completes monthly risk management statistics, including fire drill logs, fire extinguisher inspections, incident reports, and house inspection, and provide information to Program Director for monthly QI reports.
  • Provides emergency transportation as needed and appropriate.
  • Handles emergency and crisis calls when needed.
  • Handles patient complaints, documents the complaints and forwards them to the Program Director.
  • Schedules adequate coverage for all shifts in the event of call offs.
  • Coordinates recreational activities and outing for patients and arranges staff coverage for these events


Job Requirements

Minimum of two years experience in Human Services and/or a minimum of two years professional experience in Behavioral Health and/or an addiction field.Supervisory experience required. High school diploma or GED required. Some College a plus
