Team Lead Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Operators are responsible for inspecting and operating industrial trucks to move materials or products in the warehouse, while helping oversee the department's daily responsibilities. Team Lead MHE Operators provide high level administrative support and are responsible for assisting management maintain performance, quality, and safety standards.
Complete daily MHE Operator inspection of equipment using Infolink. Utilize Material Handling Equipment (MHE) or Pallet Jack to move pallets of materials or product. Assist coworkers to ensure assigned tasks are completed daily. Monitor workflow and allocate resources and tools appropriately based on volume. Use problem solving skills to research product and orders to minimize downtime. Follow and enforce Preferred Methods and Safety Guidelines. Rotate throughout the department performing various functions, including housekeeping. Assist other areas of Operations, including cross-department functions, for training and operational purposes. Assist with leading daily stretches and team huddle Perform quality control using the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and RF scanners. Load/unload materials, product, and pallets. Receive, stock, pick, or ship products for customer orders. Attain individual and department goals. Continuously develop and grow through Leadership Development.

High School Diploma or equivalency Strong organizational, counting, and multitasking skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all stakeholders. Ability to perform 8 or more hours of standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying products in any combination at any given time. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (team-lift for anything above 50 lbs). Comfortable working in a warehouse environment which includes changes in temperature as the weather fluctuates, noise from conveyors, and forklifts. Prior warehouse, forklift, Microsoft Office Suit and warehouse management systems experience are a plus
