Intern - Quality Control - Chemistry

This specific intern position is labs based and focuses on more of an experiential internship. While there will be activities geared towards projects, there might not be a specific project directly attached to this intern position.

Primary Responsibilities:

• HPLC / GC Column Management
• LIMS Inventory
• Column storage and organization
• Columns inventory, specifically ones not in use
• Reconcile all "in use" columns

Community Outreach Project:

• Interns will be put into groups and be responsible for finding a local nonprofit organization to put together a community service day with.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled as a student at an accredited college or university program; pursuing a related business field degree;
• Be classified as a minimum of a sophomore; and
• Must be planning to return to school at the end of his/her break
• Must commit to 8-10 weeks of internship
• Field of Study: Chemistry
