Additional information can be found at www.ttm.com The Environmental Engineer Technicianis responsible for ensuring air, wastewater, and waste disposal compliance. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Has a working knowledge of environmental laws and regulations, and remains current in these areas. Responsible for completion of all environmental permit applications. Develops and maintains air emissions inventories. Keeps air permits up-to-date. Acts as an engineering resource to help determine proper selection and installation of air pollution control equipment. Coordinates the solid waste management programs including all hazardous and non-hazardous wastes and recyclables. Audits all areas of the facility to ensure compliance with these programs. Responsible for development and maintenance of waste minimization / pollution prevention programs. Maintains an up to date contingency plan and assists in emergency response activities. In an accurate and timely manner, completes environmental reports such as industrial wastewater, Community Right-to-Know (Tier II and Form R reports), spill incidents, pollution prevention. Works with the wastewater treatment supervisor to ensure proper operation of wastewater treatment systems. Also acts as the engineering resource for the operation of and improvements to, the wastewater treatment systems. Responsible for keeping the wastewater discharge permit current. Evaluates new processes and projects for their environmental impact. Responsible for developing and maintaining environmental training for site personnel as necessary. Acts as a representative of TTM Technologies with environmental regulatory authorities. Keeps facility management informed of all environmental issues and significant changes in regulations. Acts as a backup to other HSE personnel. Primarily first shift, but weekend and off-shift work is required on an as needed basis Participates in rotating on-call schedule with other HSE employees
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Requirements: Degree in chemical or environmental engineering, or physical sciences is preferred. Experience Requirements: at least four years of experience in environmental programs such as wastewater treatment, and hazardous waste management is preferred. Industrial Hygiene experience preferred.

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that my be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
