Department OverviewThe Global Video Security & Access Control (VS&A) Marketing Team is responsible for developing and executing all strategic marketing and product marketing programs across the globe to drive product awareness, demand generation and sales enablement. The team oversees all global product marketing strategy for the fixed video, mobile video, and analytics portfolio, develops messaging and go-to-market strategy for the VS&A business, creates and drives marketing programs and campaigns aimed to generate leads, and builds brand awareness among target audiences, including system integrators, end-users, and consultants. Motorola Solutions is offering a paid summer internship program to provide hands-on experience working on real projects that have a tangible impact. Collaborating with creative and marketing teams, interns will develop diverse collateral and support operational initiatives that enhance organization and efficiency. This full-time internship offers a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience in graphic design and design operations within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Brainstorm and create visually compelling marketing assets which may include brochures, website graphics, presentations, social media, illustrations, icons, printed collateral, etc.

  • Assist in organizing and maintaining shared drive folders, ensuring files are logically structured and easily accessible

  • Help manage asset libraries, ensuring assets, brand guidelines and design templates are up to date

  • Coordinate with team members to gather and archive project deliverables for future reference

  • Contribute to improving operational efficiency by identifying opportunities for better organization and file management

  • Grow familiarity with new and developing creative design technologies, tactics, and strategies

  • Bring a positive attitude and motivation to deliver the highest quality assets

Desirable experience and skills:

  • Pursuing a degree in Graphic Design or a related field

  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator

  • Practical knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, and Acrobat a plus

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

  • Bring creativity to projects while ensuring brand guidelines are followed

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Understanding of design principles, including typography, color theory, and layout design

  • Strong communication skills

  • Strong awareness of design trends

  • Have an online portfolio or samples of work showing your skills and creativity

  • Organized and able to follow up on long and short-term projects

  • High level of initiative, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent follow-up skills

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree with an anticipated graduation date during or after December 2025
