As a Calibration and Instrumentation Technician III, you'll serve as a subject matter expert responsible for the calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of complex process and laboratory equipment across multiple PCI facilities. You'll ensure all critical instrumentation performs optimally and is in compliance with regulatory standards, helping us deliver on our mission of quality and innovation.

This is a hands-on role that requires a deep understanding of metrology, instrumentation, and technical troubleshooting. You'll also have the opportunity to mentor junior technicians, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and work closely with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do
  • Perform complex calibrations on utilities, process, and lab equipment, including:

    • Temperature, pressure, pH, conductivity, humidity, and flow sensors

    • Incubators, freezers, balances, fume hoods, thermocouples, RTDs, pressure gauges, and more

  • Conduct field testing, diagnostics, repairs, and system troubleshooting to minimize downtime

  • Maintain calibration databases and documentation in accordance with cGMP, CFR, SOPs, and company policies

  • Ensure all calibrations meet NIST traceability and regulatory compliance standards

  • Partner with vendors and contractors to ensure timely calibration of critical instrumentation

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and suggest procedural enhancements

  • Train and mentor less experienced team members

Qualifications
  • High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred

  • 5-7+ years of experience in calibration, instrumentation, or a related field

  • Military technical training or specialized metrology coursework is a strong plus

  • Deep knowledge of metrology principles and maintenance best practices

  • Experience with reliability-centered maintenance and lean manufacturing preferred
