Position Title: Associate Scientist

Location: Onsite, Monday-Friday (Day Shift)

Duration: One year contract with potential to go direct hire

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have one year plus hands-on experience in a laboratory environment, strong foundational knowledge in chemistry or chemical engineering, and exposure to oligonucleotide synthesis. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to contribute to innovative projects in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct laboratory experiments and analysis to support research and development activities.
• Perform tasks related to oligonucleotide synthesis and purification processes.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of experimental procedures and results.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and optimize experimental protocols.
• Adhere to all laboratory safety protocols and regulations.

Qualifications:

• - Basic understanding of analytical techniques (pH, osmolality, conductivity measurement, HPLC, LC-MS etc.). Related hands-on experience is preferred. Knowledge of oligonucleotide manufacture process including phosphoramidite chemistry, chromatography, ultrafiltration etc. is a plus.
• - Experience in record-keeping and excellent laboratory documentation practice are required. Strong commitment to high laboratory and scientific standard; ability to maintain a safe, clean, and orderly laboratory work environment; assist in routine lab and equipment maintenance.
