*The range provided is based on cost of living/geography and what we believe is reasonable in the market at the time of posting. This role may be eligible for annual bonus and annual merit increase, as well as long term compensation. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors.

How You'll Perform the Role

The Key Account Manager is responsible for continuously building profitable sales on an annual basis within their specified territory or account base. He/ She develops strategic partnerships with customers by solving for their unique needs through standard stock or custom solutions. Overseeing all aspects of the customer relationship from product ideation to distribution the Key Account Manager acts as point person both internally throughout the organization and externally with all customer stakeholders to build long standing relationships that drive greater market share.

Job Duties:



  • Establish wide and deep relationships with the existing customer base.
  • Search for new business within and outside of the customer base.
  • Secure and build accurate forecasts for long term planning purposes.
  • Work closely with the pricing team to maintain healthy margins.
  • Work hand-in-hand with the Customer Service team to ensure healthy customer fill rates and manage any supply and service challenges.
  • Plan and present business reviews with Key Accounts.
  • Provide Monthly Sales Reports for Sales Manager and detail key activities and action plans.
  • Utilize new and existing sales tools and methodologies (i.e. CRM) to track and win new opportunities.
  • Fosters close cooperative relationships with all internal stakeholders.


What We Need From You

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Min 5 years of related experience is required
  • Experience coordinating projects, developing project plans, and completing projects on time and on budget.
  • Has a passion for winning by motivating themselves and internal stakeholders towards achieving results.
  • Must be able to analyze information and think systematically.
  • Knowledge of the packaging industry an asset. CPG experience is also considered beneficial.
  • Superior time management skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision are essential.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) with superior skills in Excel.
  • Team player and capable of thinking outside the box.
  • Detail-oriented and able to accurately proofread sales data.
  • Ability to make sound, timely, and accurate judgments while supporting reasoning for decisions.
  • Professional, responsive, and positive work attitude.
  • Travel is required.
  • Working Trade shows when required.
