We have an opportunity for a Material Cycle Counter to join our Apopka, FL team. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all materials in inventory as well as conducting cycle counts, entering data in the system and reconciling discrepancies. You will:

• Review Cycle Count reports daily and perform accurate inventory item counts
• Research cycle count discrepancies between daily counts and inventory records.
• Investigate the root cause of inventory discrepancies, analyze inventory transactions, and reconcile receipts, production reporting, scrap, Bill of Materials, and shipping transactions.
• Troubleshoot inventory discrepancies and assist in training and communicating the inaccuracies to the inventory team and the production team for resolution
• Help identify obsolete inventory and report it back to the inventory team and the production and logistics teams, resolve discrepancies and drive corrective actions.
• Take a leadership role in any and all physical inventory counts
• Perform any other duty or assignment as may be assigned from time to time by the manager

Key Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• 2-3 years of inventory or cycle counting experience
• Basic math skills
• Understanding of inventory transactions and movement through the system.
• Familiarity with manufacturing systems for the review of inventory transactions,
• Data entry experience

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated hourly base pay is $17.25 hr. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs.
