HDR is seeking a Cost Change Specialist to work on a major construction program for our client in Pompano Beach, FL.

Primary Responsibilities



  • Prepare and analyze cost reports and costing audits
  • Identify cost reporting issues and correct and/or communicate as needed
  • Coordinate cost reports, cost control and revisions on related projects
  • Maintain communications and records of cost information and related cost estimating sources, cost indexes and references
  • Work as an integral member of project teams, and coordinate several projects concurrently as needed
  • Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Engineering and/or Construction background
  • PMIS experience
  • Data Visualization experience (Power BI, Tableau, Quickbase, etc)


    Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field
    • A minimum of 5 years' experience in cost management for construction projects
    • Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel
    • Familiar with Microsoft Project, cost estimating and control software and PMIS experience
    • Must have good organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills.
    • Ability to handle multiple, diverse assignments
    • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
