The Victim Service Program is based in both Worcester and Leominster. The Victim Services Program is comprised of specialty areas that allow for a flexible response to victims of violent crimes and the needs of the communities we serve. Our approach is multi-modal, focusing on a variety of victim populations; children and adults exposed to domestic violence, after homicide families and loved ones, sexual abuse/ rape, LGBTQI victimization and post disaster victims. All services, including individual, couple, family, group therapy, crisis intervention, safety planning, support groups, community outreach events, advocacy, and coordinated care with other community agencies, are free of financial obligation for qualified clients. Transportation to treatment and child care in Worcester are provided free of cost to Victim Service Program clients. Services are available in English and Spanish in both locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct clinical psychotherapy services including the use of evidenced based practices, i.e. TF-CBT: Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and ARC: The Attachment Self-Regulation Competency Framework to children, adolescents and adults as represented in the caseload through:

  • Diagnostic evaluations and screenings

  • Crisis/emergency assessment and intervention

  • Assessment, treatment, transition, discharge planning

  • Participates in interdisciplinary diagnostic treatment and planning conferences.

  • Consults with area schools, doctors, individuals, and other social service agencies, insurance providers and hospital networks regarding clients, client services and case management.

  • Maintains client records and administrative records according to CHL Policy requirements.

  • Maintains unit productivity standard according to collective bargaining agreement.

  • Attends administrative staff meetings and treatment team as required.

  • Attends in-service education, clinical supervision and professional meetings as required.

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy

  • Perform related job duties as assigned.

  • If Clinician IV may provide clinical supervision of staff or Utilization Review.

  • Respects diverse views and approaches, demonstrates Standards of Respect, and contributes to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, tolerance, civility and acceptance toward all employees, patients and visitors.

Qualifications:

  • Grade C12- Clinician III: Masters degree in a clinical course of study in behavioral health (social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, counseling or related field) that meet the academic requirementsfor independent licensure in psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or mental health counseling in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Requires licensure as LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or is actively working towards licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

  • Ability to perform diagnostic and risk assessments using current accepted tools and practices to determine appropriate level of care.

  • Current valid US-issued drivers license

  • All candidates will be subject to a CORI review as outlined in the regulations set by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services.
