About the team

You will join the Data & Analytics group part of the FP&A division within Worldpay. Core skills centre around data extraction and manipulation primarily using SQL, Power BI, and Tableau to provide regular KPI reporting and Insights to support Finance, Commercial and Product teams. The team is highly talented and motivated giving you the opportunity to accelerate your career as a Data and Finance professional.

What you'll own

Role is required to help extend the depth and breadth of capacity the Business Insights team can support, utilizing data extracted from various Worldpay platforms. The primary purpose of the role is to analyze, interpret and explain payment related data trends to Financial Leadership as well as partnering with colleagues throughout the business to achieve collective business success.

Principle areas of focus are:

  • Provide timely reporting and insight into divisions and channel financial behavior adding appropriate commentary at merchant level.

  • Drive and manage initiatives that increase business performance.

  • Drive best practice from accumulated data and analysis to help guide management and operational decision-making.

  • Data Development to unlock a step change in Global Reporting and Automation.

  • Formulate consistent and applicable benchmarks to enable metric comparisons at all levels with the objective of identifying opportunities to improve and optimize over time.

  • Interpret outputs to provide market insights, communicating these to all levels of stakeholders.

  • Liaison with other data teams within Worldpay to ensure a consistent and improving data landscape.

Where you'll own it

You'll own it in our thriving Cincinatti hub or remotely if you reside within the Eastern time zone.

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree, ideally related to Information Systems/Business

  • Strong MS Office experience, specifically Excel, PowerPoint & Power BI

  • Expert knowledge and experience in data manipulation using SQL querying tools in large relational databases - specific development experience in Cloud based (snowflake) architecture also beneficial.

  • Able to look beyond numbers to convert complex data into insight.

  • Ability to interpret complex business requirements, translate into analytical problems and deliver high value outputs.

  • Well-developed communication skills, able to tailor results into language appropriate for the audience

  • Working in a consultative manner to help colleagues understand the commercial implications of business trends
