Position: Regional Operations Manager - Finishing, Dispense & Filtration
Location: Greenwood, 46143

General Purpose

The Regional Operations Manager will oversee and optimize operations across multiple distribution centers within the assigned region. This individual will have a proven track record in managing large-scale industrial distribution operations, driving efficiency, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and collaboration with various departments to meet and exceed operational and financial goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Oversee daily operations of one or more facilities, ensuring that all locations meet company standards for performance, customer service, and profitability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute operational strategies that support the company's growth objectives.
  • Analyze operational data, identify trends, and implement improvements to maximize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the customer experience.
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop long-term business strategies and translate them into actionable operational plans.


  • Partner with procurement team in order to optimize supply chain, inventory, and logistics processes to ensure product availability and efficient distribution.


  • Monitor inventory percentages, direct labor costs, waste percentages, inventory levels and consumption
  • Lead and mentor a team, ensuring alignment with company goals and fostering a culture of accountability and performance.
  • Manage budgets and financial performance, ensuring operational activities stay within allocated resources and drive profitability.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to meet customer expectations
  • Address and resolve operational issues that impact the customer experience.
  • Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring adherence to safety protocols and conducting regular audits


  • Any other tasks as assigned by lead/manager



Education and Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field; or relevant combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in operations management, with at least 2 years in a regional or multi-site role within industrial distribution
  • Minimum 2 years in a leadership role
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time to oversee operations within the region
  • Proficiency in ERP; knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus
  • Proven project management, administrative management, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of operational principles and policies
  • Excellent customer relation and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Detail oriented, including accurate data entry skills
  • Capable of working independently, as well as a team member
  • Interact with co-workers with a positive attitude to maintain a friendly and productive work environment
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
  • Ability to understand written and oral English and be proficient with computer, email, spreadsheets and look up documents online
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job
  • Ability to work in environments that may include:


    • Moving mechanical parts
    • Fumes or airborne particles
    • Painting chemicals and solvents
    • Electrical equipment
