What will I do as a Coordinator of Community Relations and Charitible Giving?

As part of the Communications & Community Impact team, the Coordinator, Community Impact is responsible for supporting and executing community impact programs focused on giving back through volunteerism, philanthropic giving, and strategic partnerships in support of the company purpose. This role supports corporate social responsibly (CSR) initiatives for the company to ensure the company is a responsible corporate citizen. In addition, this Coordinator works with the Community Impact Specialist to execute local sponsorships and donations. This individual will be responsible for supporting relationships with the community partners, internal stakeholders, and supplier partners in the communities we serve. This role reports to the Community Impact Manager and supports aspects of community impact and communications initiatives, as assigned.

  • Executes community relations initiatives and represents the company at special events.

  • Serve as a brand ambassador to enhance community engagement and build recognition of our team promise to make a difference.

  • Manage tasks to deliver programs on time and on budget.

  • Manage invoice processing, including community partner donations while monitoring and reporting on the community impact budget line.

  • Manage vendor setup for CSR vendors/partners.

  • Plan and support volunteer events, inclusive of partner communication, team member communication and guidance, and tracking of events across the company.

  • Manage quarterly results reporting for global team with review by community impact manager.

  • Produce weekly campaign reporting for communication to store operations.

  • Manage product logistics for community impact donations and events, coordination with transportation and supply chain

  • Perform initial screening of potential community partners to include online donation portal submission and new community outreach.

  • Maintain community impact communications including donation award letters.

  • Provide event planning support as it relates to logistics and setup and live event support for CSR vendors/partners, at the direction of Community Impact Manager.

  • Supports the execution of community activities at new store and facility openings, as needed.

  • Work with the stores, category teams, manufacturers, communications, and marketing team to increase visibility of programs and tell a meaningful story.

What do we expect you to bring to the table?

  • 2-4 years of experience in related field.

  • Bachelors Degree preferred.

What are the details?

  • Hybrid Remote: This position is based out of Carlisle, Pa. and will require 3 days a week in the office.

  • Reporting: The Coordinator reports into the Manager within the Community Impact Team.
