Position and Responsibilities Overview Provide deep technical insights into modular products, including turnkey modular data centers, UPS pods, e-houses, and electrical conveyance systems. Stay updated on compliance standards and permitting process for modular programs Lead the preparation of technical proposals, including understanding the project requirements & specifications, and organizing an internalproposal plan with estimating, engineering, marketing, and production. Ensure the project inclusions and exclusions are clearly coordinated internally with the estimating department and externally in the customer-facing proposal Deliver detailed technical presentations to customers as required for business development or to present previously submitted proposals Maintain expertise on industry trends, competitor offerings, and new technologies in the modular mission-critical space, with a particular emphasis on emerging areas like AI data centers, edge computing, green energy solutions, and power infrastructure. Use insights to position the company's solutions effectively and advise customers on innovations that impact modular infrastructure. Ensure a smooth transition from sales to operations, with all pertinent project information turned over to the operations team for seamless project execution. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related fields. Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or pre-sales in the data center, IT infrastructure, telecommunications, or power markets. Experience with modular construction is highly preferred. Deep understanding of data center and mission-critical infrastructure (power, cooling, network architecture, etc.), modular construction, and energy-efficient technologies. Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., Tier ratings, Uptime Institute standards) and a strong focus on providing customers with the technical details to make informed decisions. Knowledge of a data center commissioning process is a plus Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience and lead cross-functional teams. Strong technical writing skills with the ability to create proposals that clearly communicate business value and technical specifics. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively to offer innovative, compliant solutions tailored to customer needs across various modular product offerings.
