National Grid is hiring a Lead Project Manager for our New England Electric Contracts and Commercial department in Waltham, MA. This is a hybrid position.

Job Purpose

The New England Electric Contracts and Commercial team manages, supports and monitors contracts and contractual relationships for outsourced electric construction contracts for National Grid.

Key Accountabilities
  • Develop and maintain the contract strategy and fit for purpose delivery models for the NE Electric capital portfolio
  • Develop and maintain the NE Electric contract management support model and capability framework.
  • Facilitate the resource planning of the Contracts & Commercial Group
  • Consult during project option analysis and development to drive selection of the optimal project delivery and contract strategy
  • Provide market perspective, trends, and insights for contracting of electric utility construction
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree is required
  • 7+ years of experience in contracting, construction management, or project management within the construction industry
  • Demonstrates applied knowledge in various types of construction contracts and commercial models
  • Microsoft Office proficiency including MS Teams, SharePoint, Power Point, Excel and Word required
  • Valid driver's license required.

Salary - $139,000 - $163,000

This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
