National Grid is hiring a Lead Project Manager for our New England Electric Contracts and Commercial department in Waltham, MA. This is a hybrid position. Job Purpose The New England Electric Contracts and Commercial team manages, supports and monitors contracts and contractual relationships for outsourced electric construction contracts for National Grid. Key Accountabilities Develop and maintain the contract strategy and fit for purpose delivery models for the NE Electric capital portfolio Develop and maintain the NE Electric contract management support model and capability framework. Facilitate the resource planning of the Contracts & Commercial Group Consult during project option analysis and development to drive selection of the optimal project delivery and contract strategy Provide market perspective, trends, and insights for contracting of electric utility construction Qualifications A bachelor's degree is required 7+ years of experience in contracting, construction management, or project management within the construction industry Demonstrates applied knowledge in various types of construction contracts and commercial models Microsoft Office proficiency including MS Teams, SharePoint, Power Point, Excel and Word required Valid driver's license required. More Information Salary - $139,000 - $163,000 This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills.
