QUALITY INSPECTOR

WHAT TO EXPECT

As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward-thinking, open-minded, and well-rounded individuals to join our team. Located in our Greenville plant, you will be a Quality Inspector reporting to the Quality Manager.

Shift Details: 6 am. - 2 pm (Training hours: 7 AM to 3 PM: 4 weeks minimum)

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform quality tests/inspections on products, materials, components, parts, etc. at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with quality and reliability standards.
  • Communicate when the standards/processes are not being followed.
  • Recommend modifications to existing, or suggest new, standards, methods and procedures.
  • Read prints and specifications to ensure that operations meet production standards.
  • Use gages to measure products and confirm conformity.
  • Remove products that don't meet production standards and recommend strategies to improve product quality.
  • Accept or reject finished products and discuss inspection results with the production team and quality team.
  • Other tasks or duties as assigned.

ABOUT YOU

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred
  • One year of manufacturing experience in quality, preferred
  • Must be able to perform physical tasks, lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work 40 hours per week, plus overtime, with reliable and consistent attendance
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
  • Must have good communication skills, with the ability to carry out written and verbal instruction
  • Basic reading, math, computer, and measurement skills required

  • Full-Time

  • Eligible for 2 weeks of paid vacation + 11 holidays + 8 sick days. All vacation days are accrued
