Summary of Job Duties:The Executive Administrative Assistant (EAA) will engage in strategic planning alongside the Command Staff. The EAA will serve with four members of the Command Staff, supporting strategic budgetary preparations, invoice organization and payment, analysis, and reporting to various stakeholders. S/he should possess a high level of professionalism in handling highly confidential information and ensure the processing and distribution of Daily Case Reports to relevant internal and external departments or agencies. Additionally, S/he will lead the organization's departmental events and facilitate the creation of strategic reports for internal use. This role will be responsible for coordinating inventory control and submitting related reports, as well as supervising interns and part-time staff.

The EAA will also maintain responsibility for a Travel and Procurement Card and should be well versed in Fayetteville Policy and Procedures related to such. S/he will support document control for all required reports, such as accident and case reports, and oversee the archiving of reports. Other duties include assisting with accreditation, Clery compliance, and other regulatory report preparations. This position will serve as the Department Scribe during strategic meetings and provide support for both individual and group presentations on a variety of topics. S/he assist with travel report preparation and help facilitate travel arrangements for staff through Workday. In addition, S/he will contribute to pre- and post-game day football preparations.

The EAA is expected to be committed to completing training for new job duties as needed and ensure reliable attendance while fostering collegial and harmonious working relationships. As a detail-oriented, customer service-focused individual, S/he should possess strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively which includes accepting duties as assigned.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others. Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma

  • At least one year of specialized training in business management, business education, or a related field

  • At least three years of experience in administrative support

  • At least one year in a supervisory or leadership capacity

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Workday Experience

  • Excel and Microsoft Word Skills

  • Detailed and customer service-oriented person with strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
