Routine: Lake Superior Hall Floors 2 & 3 Custodial Work requires proficiency in the use of tools, equipment and chemicals required to perform custodial work including the ability to follow instructions for safe use of products and *Perform General custodial work in all common interior/exterior areas of UMD residential housing, including restrooms, offices, corridors, stairways, study rooms, conference rooms, laundry facilities, entrances, elevators, kitchenettes, lobby areas and other areas as directed by supervisor. 50% Scrub and sanitize restrooms and shower rooms using approved cleaning agents and procedures. Summer Operations: 30% Thorough deep cleaning of residence hall rooms *Demonstrate effective, courteous and cooperative behavior to all customers, co-workers and other members of the diverse campus community. *Know and follow safety procedures and policies in everyday work. Use protective equipment. *Observe deficiencies in building hardware, doors, windows, fixtures, etc., and write maintenance requests for repair. Qualifications
