You will work alongside the Nurse Manager to ensure safe, high quality patient care. Given the responsibility to provide on-going feedback to staff, promote and participate in departmental goals, and coordinate staffing needs and schedules, you would also collaborate with the Nurse Manager and other team members to interview and select staff to join the team. As the Assistant Nurse Manager, you would be supporting a team caring for a telemetry and stroke patient population. This unit just moved to our brand new pavilion in January of 2024 so there is lots of opportunity for growth and development!

Position: Assistant Nurse Manager - 5 Pavilion (Telemetry/Stroke)
Shift: Fulltime Day Shift with a Minimum of 20% rotation to Off-Shift

Experience:
1. Three to Five years of recent Telemetry Nurse experience required; stroke experience a plus!
2. Prior charge nurse experience or other leadership experience preferred.

Education:
1. Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
2. BSN or other related Bachelor's Degree required.
3. MSN or other related Master's Degree preferred.

Licensures/Certifications:
1. PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
2. Provider BLS (American Heart Association / American Red Cross) required.
3. Certification in specialty area is desired.
