Overview Advanced Technologies and Laboratories (ATL), a Planned Systems International (PSI) company, is seeking a Construction Engineer 3 to support our team at the Los Alamos National Laboratory. Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities The Construction Engineer 3 is responsible for ensuring that the technical aspects of construction and maintenance projects are executed in full conformance with the Approved Project Documents by monitoring facility maintenance and construction activities. This is accomplished by providing input during scoping, design, execution, and project closeout to ensure baseline documents are accurate, design documents are adhered to, and as-built configurations are verified. Construction Engineers expedite project execution by identifying issues, coordinating technical solutions, and providing timely guidance to the constructor through approved procedures. At the level 3 position, leadership experience is a requirement. Minimum Requirements * Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university and 6 years of practical work experience OR 14 years of industry experience. Current registration as an Engineer in Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) is highly desirable. * Demonstrated expert knowledge of construction engineering principles. Desired Qualifications * Expert organizational skills for field engineering oversight and status-ing of multiple simultaneous construction projects.
