Ferrellgas Truck Drivers are critical to our success as they are the face of our company in their daily interactions with our current and future customers.As full-time truck driver on our team, you will pick up and deliver propane to residential and industrial customersin a safe and efficient manner. Ferrellgas delivery drivers can expect to work local routes and be home every night; however, on-call rotations for after hours and weekend emergency deliveries may be needed.

Responsibilities

  • Trains field employees, which may include, but not limited to technical knowledge; OSHA, and other safety, environmental, and governmental regulations and standards; and company policies and procedures.
  • Assists the operations supervisor in ensuring compliance with safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Assists the operations supervisor in identifying potential issues and proactively developing resolutions.
  • Completes other field-related tasks as assigned.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or high school equivalent.
  • One year of work-related experience.
  • Working knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and other safety, environmental, and governmental standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on team building and developing a positive rapport with company employees at all levels.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills in a customer-focused environment.
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills with the ability to effectively multi-task in a customer-focused environment.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills with a strong desire to teach others.
  • Ability to successfully give and receive constructive feedback.
