The Fleet Compliance Representative is responsible for ensuring the compliance of fleet operations with federal, state, and local regulations. This role manages registration renewals, state changes, IFTA/IRP filings, and title management. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and knowledgeable about fleet compliance and regulatory requirements.


Responsibilities

The Fleet Compliance Representative is responsible for ensuring the compliance of fleet operations with federal, state, and local regulations. This role manages registration renewals, state changes, IFTA/IRP filings, and title management. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and knowledgeable about fleet compliance and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Registration Renewals

Manage and process vehicle registration renewals to ensure all fleet vehicles remain legally operational.

Maintain a detailed schedule to track and anticipate renewal deadlines.

2. State Changes

Coordinate and process state-to-state vehicle registration and titling transitions.

Ensure compliance with varying state regulations and manage all required documentation.

3. IFTA/IRP Compliance

Prepare and submit International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) and International Registration Plan (IRP) filings.

Monitor and reconcile fuel and mileage reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.

4. Title Management

Maintain accurate records of vehicle titles and ensure timely processing of title transfers.

Resolve title issues, including lien releases and duplicate titles, in a timely manner.

5. Documentation and Recordkeeping

Maintain up-to-date records for all fleet vehicles, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Generate and maintain compliance reports as required by management or regulatory bodies.

6. Regulatory Compliance

Stay informed of changes in fleet compliance regulations and implement necessary updates to processes.

Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies and ensure all audits and inspections are handled professionally.

7. Customer Support

Provide support and guidance to internal teams regarding compliance-related questions and issues.

Communicate effectively with vendors and government agencies to resolve compliance matters.


Qualifications

About You:

Education and Experience

* High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Transportation, or related field preferred.

* Minimum of 2 years of experience in fleet compliance, transportation, or related field.

Skills and Competencies

* Strong knowledge of vehicle registration, IFTA/IRP processes, and title management.

* Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and fleet management software.

* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

* Effective written and verbal communication skills

Position Details:

  • Remote position
  • Start Time: 7:30am
  • Monday - Friday
  • Salary - Bi-Weekly Payroll
  • $ 50-60K
