Job Description
Opportunity at a Glance This role will provide leadership, direction and coordination for a team of Systems Analysts, providing support and development of systems including Banner Student Accounts and Salesforce. This colleague will provide hands-on systems leadership as it relates to Accounts Receivables to ensure the delivery of business systems enhancements and process improvements, to support the operations for the Adtalem institutions and companies. Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing and developing departmental management staff as they direct daily operations of the business systems analysts.
- Responsible for ensuring key business systems align with current business process and organizational need.
- Leverages strong skill and expertise in business systems, specifically in the Accounts Receivables (AR) module, to successfully lead functional/technical analysis, design, construction, testing and implementation of system enhancements, and perform production maintenance, supporting the success of ISS, ATGE and multiple institutions. Serves as POC and SME for Business Systems items.
- Troubleshoots and provide solutions to Production issues and analyzes root cause to find a more permanent fix. Leads review, identification, and recommendations to technology and/or data enhancements to resolve issues, support maintenance and improve existing processes and tools.
- Serves as primary liaison within ISS, IT and institutions in regards to key functional system enhancements and system configuration.
- Independently manages multiple projects according to plan. Proactively creates plans, monitors and assigns work, follows up and reports progress to ensure work is delivered timely. Mitigates risks to project success and identifies and handles issues to ensure timely completion.
- Design, develop and implement processes for system configuration of key processes that affect student accounts and Accounts Receivables. Implement best practices and identify continuous improvement opportunities to ensure that the team is working efficiently and effectively.
- Performs impact assessment of system updates/upgrades. Translate the results into a test plan that will ensure that the changes will be seamless in the Production environment.
- Provides leadership to promote and maintain integrity and accuracy of the configuration files that are loaded in the system and any other team deliverable
- Leads the planning of service requests, implementation steps, corrective actions, upgrade recommendations and optimization steps for Banner technologies and products.
- Ensures that dashboards are updated, accurate and effective.
- Coordinates development of training material for any new/changed business process flows within key systems. Look for opportunities to create any missing training materials, SOPs and user guides for the team and stakeholders.
- Establishes service standards and metrics to measure service delivery and ensures that staff knows and understand their responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities.
- Work with business partners and Information Technology personnel to identify business requirements and system development specifications for business changes and enhancement requests. Work with business processing groups to identify any process improvements that may necessitate system changes.
- Research reported issues within the Banner AR moduleand processes, and translate into enhancement as needed.
- Supports compliance with Federal, State and Institutional regulations. Maintains documents and evidences that support compliance to regulations. Works with internal and external auditors for SOX compliance requirements.
- Create effective team and stakeholder communications as needed.
- Travels as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree.
- 5 years ofleadership experience overseeing multiple functions.
- 5 years of experience with Banner Accounts Receivables in a team lead or manager position
- Experience managing large projects, creating and defining complex operational processes and procedures.
- Candidates must possess hands-on and versatile leadership qualities and the ability to manage change in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to manage, motivate and develop staff is required.
- Candidates should possess excellent communication, inter-personal skills and demonstrate the ability to foster collaboration across diverse groups of constituents, including students, faculty, management, system developers, and other staff.
- Candidates must have strong analytical project management and organizational skills around business process improvements, change management and systems improvements.
- Ability to work in a high pressure environment.
- Ability to express technical information to a broad group of people.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Additional Information
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $70696.34 and $124230.14. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
