The Clinical Practice Leader provides leadership to advance professional nursing practice. The Clinical Practice Leader is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating clinical programs to meet the needs and improve the outcomes of patients, patient populations, the organization, and the system. Responsibilities include collaboration with physician and nursing leaders and care teams to ensure delivery of well-coordinated, multidisciplinary, evidence-based patient care. The Clinical Practice Leader integrates best evidence into educational and professional development activities and provides support to ongoing clinical learning through systems thinking, critical analysis, mentorship, and practice evaluation.

Minimum Requirements:
Master of Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree with a clinical focus, or master's degree with Nursing Education focus.
3-5 years of clinical nursing experience.
State of Wisconsin Nursing license.

Preferred Requirements:
Masters or DNP degree in Nursing with Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) focus.
National Board Certification for specialty practice.
Quality/Process improvement training/experience.
Experience in development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical programs.
Experience teaching nursing concepts in a classroom setting or on a patient care unit.
