JHCP is looking for a Medical Office Assistant to provide excellent customer service to our patients at our I Street Internal Medicine Practice in Washington, D.C. You will be the first first the patients speak with when entering or calling the office. The Medical Office Assistant in the managed care practice provides for the smooth flow of patients through the practice and waiting room. Responsible for confirming, canceling and scheduling appointments. Keeping the office organized and stocked. Location: 1400 I Street NW, Washington, D.C. 20005 Shift: Non-exempt. - Full-time - 40 hours per week - Mon-Fri -7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. What You'll Need to be Successful:
Must successfully pass all required training to obtain security access to perform role. Includes, but not limited to: Electronic medical record training, Insurance training-foundations, government and commercial. Salary Range: Minimum 16.86 per hour - Maximum 27.84 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
