Market Finance Team - Sr. Analyst FP&A What you'll be doing...

The Finance Organization

We have begun a comprehensive blueprint for growth strategy improving our go to market, as well as our processes & systems, realigning the organization and add opportunities for personal skill-building and professional growth. FP&A Business Unit Team

Move beyond compiling data and help tell the story behind the numbers. The Business Unit facing positions offer opportunities to drive better business partnering and insights, while growing your FP&A leadership and interpersonal skills. You are considered a business partner and your contributions will make a difference.

This position will report to the Finance Sr. Manager supporting the Retail VP in one of the six Markets. This Market Finance team is embedded with the Market leadership team to develop a deep understanding of the trends and patterns within the market to identify and execute on opportunities to drive growth.

Responsibilities

  • Providing daily/weekly analysis of retail performance on volumes, Key Performance Indicators, staffing decisions and productivity measurement

  • Partnering with Field Finance HQ team on targets

  • Coordinating with Field Finance BI team on reporting

  • Providing Support on Quota and analysis as needed

  • Providing additional research and analysis on performance results

  • Finalizing monthly analyses of trends and budget variance of financial results and KPIs to be used in management reviews and strategic business analysis sessions

  • Performing additional research to enhance business case analysis for pricing and investment decisions support to market specific actions

  • Identifying and communicating possible scenarios, associated risks and opportunities to include in the business performance reviews

  • Analyzing economic drivers of the business client (e.g. customer churn, renewals)

  • Communicating with partners in a clear and concise manner

What we're looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.

  • Understanding of corporate financial planning, reporting & analysis, and costing/profitability methodologies and processes.

  • Knowledge of common business and cost drivers, financial statement analysis, and deep-dive analysis.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to focus on the details.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $70,000.00 and $131,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
