The Opportunity:

The Home Appliance Technical Trainer delivers comprehensive technical training to LG service providers as directed by LGEAI Management. Their primary responsibilities include training Direct Mobile Service Technicians (DMSTs) and other network technicians in home appliance repair.

Responsibilities:



  • Conduct training sessions for new LG hires and scheduled events at the Huntsville Hub.
  • Deliver technical training to Direct Mobile Service Technicians (DMSTs), Authorized Service Centers (ASCs), and experienced technicians.
  • Demonstrate advanced troubleshooting techniques, including the proper use of diagnostic equipment and field repair methods, while ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.
  • Customize training materials, such as manuals, visual aids, and physical resources, to enhance the learning experience.
  • Maintain technical expertise across the product line by engaging in hands-on training, group sessions, and reverse engineering of products prior to instruction.
  • Collaborate with factory research and development teams, engineers, and local experts to create innovative training methods, materials, and scalable content as new products are introduced.
  • Represent the organization at industry conventions, providing field support and gathering insights on competitor strategies to improve LGEAI programs.
  • Stay up to date with LG Service Policies and Procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Report safety-related issues promptly.
  • Perform product field testing and deliver quality feedback to assist in product enhancement.
  • Submit weekly and monthly progress reports as required.
  • Fulfill additional tasks as assigned by LGEAI headquarters management.
  • Oversee and manage the training center operated by LGEAI headquarters.


Qualifications / Education / Experience:



  • Education: Associate's degree in a technical field (bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Financial Skills: Strong ability to monitor and manage funds and finances with accuracy.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced PC skills, including proficiency in MS Office, and excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years in the consumer electronics and/or appliance industry.
  • Technical Expertise: Solid knowledge of sealed system repair.
  • Preferred Experience: Technical bench repair and/or technical training experience is a plus.
  • Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel up to 50% of working hours for business trips and training, with potential international travel to LG factories or other facilities.
  • Work Location: Based in-office (Huntsville).
