National Account Manager

MCS is seeking a National Account Manager to help expand existing relationships in one of the company's key market segments Single Family Rental. Our National Account Manager will interface extensively with both clients and the entire SFR team to grow the business

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate existing relationships and business opportunities through targeted prospecting
  • Establish trust and build strong relationships with clients throughout the entire business development cycle
  • Consistently execute on the development of leads, through assessment of initial opportunities, collaborating with internal stakeholders on MCS deliverables, interfacing with the clients, and negotiating contracts
  • Update all sales activity, initiatives by category, customer and status in CRM system
  • Drive increased revenue and profits by increasing client base and creating new revenue resources with existing clients
  • Serve as the subject matter expert regarding competitive offerings, industry trends, and client base
  • Maintain ongoing communication with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions
  • Demonstrate solution and value proposition and help manage customer issues and questions
  • Identify and deliver on any opportunities to increase MCS's suite of offerings to existing customers
  • Work closely with internal partners to establish new ideas for increased market penetration and revenue
  • Identify key client requirements and communicate them effectively to internal partners
  • Maintain up-to-date, detailed customer knowledge and industry data; serve as an active member of groups and associations related to the industry and relevant customers
  • Operate within Financial, Legal, and Ethical Policies
  • Perform ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities

  • Proven ability to manage national accounts, achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Team- oriented mindset with a focus on collaboration and adaptability.
Education and Experience:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent work experience in a similar environment.

Experience: Strong knowledge of sales process, methodology and data required

Preferred: Focusing on residential and commercial.
