CH-53 RESET is a diverse program located in MCAS Miramar. This position will be at our Miramar, CA location and is part of the Maintenance Team.

We are looking for an individual that is a self-starter, organized and detail oriented. You will be required to communicate with all levels of employees from our Mechanics to the Program Manager as well as Supply Officers from the MALS level through the DLA level. Normal Work hours are Monday - Friday, day shift. Some Weekend or Holiday work may be required from time to time as requirements dictate. Hours will be set by the unit that we are supporting and by the Site Supervisor.

Summary

The Supply Supervisor's responsibilities include: Monitoring all Supply Technicians assigned to your specific site and the Tool Room Representatives at each site. Supply Supervisor/Technicians are required to perform those unique functions necessary to provide logistical support to aviation activities. Their prime objective is to satisfy valid customer requirements. They perform all functions related to providing aviation peculiar supply support, to include financial management, inventory management, material management, facilities and storage management, personnel staffing, reconciling and requisitioning procedures. Duties include validation of customer requirements, processing requisitions, submitting requisitions, initiating appropriate follow-up actions, and processing and delivering material in accordance with all government regulations and procedures. In addition, Aviation Supply Specialists have an understanding of acquisition procedures, provisioning and requirements determination, material handling procedures, and fiscal accounting and purchasing procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations and current MALS/MAW Supply Desktop Operating Procedures. Is responsible for monitoring or providing reports requested by the Site Management or Program Management. This position is also responsible for managing all GFP/GFE at the MCAS Miramar site to include all inventory management, tracking and DRMO functions that may be required. Any other directions given by Site/Program management.

REQUIREMENTS



  • Inputs data regarding work order information, status changes, supply updates and other pertinent information utilizing NALCOMIS/OOMA.
  • Prepares special reports for maintenance updates as required
  • Compiles material inventory records and prepares requisitions for procurement of materials and supplies, tracks production
  • Must obtain and maintain the level of Industrial Security Clearance required by the Government. Must be able to obtain and maintain required clearance for Common Access Card (CAC).
  • Must be familiar with One Touch, Haystack, FedLog, FedMall, Lateral Support procedures/requesting, DLA operations, etc... and be able to talk to them all.



EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS



  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent required.
  • Advance Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel)
  • Must have working knowledge of the Optimized Naval Aviation Logistic Management Information System School
  • Graduate of the Marine Aviation Supply Specialist class
  • 5 years' experience as a Supply Supervisor, in Marine/Navy Aviation Supply.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position is located in a hangar and may be in areas that are noisy, dusty, and dirty. May be exposed to moderate discomforts, such as heat, cold and wind. This position requires normal physical functions and is primarily a desk position. However, work may require frequent bending, reaching and climbing. You will be required to comply with safety requirements of the Standard Operating Procedures Manual. May be required to wear personal protective equipment, where applicable; steel/composite toed shoes are a requirement daily on the Hanger. Must be able to travel up and down stairs and work with their hands. Must be able to travel to other sites; travel estimation is no more than 20% executable.

This is a Salary position with a salary range of $80,000 - $99,000. Pay and benefits are subject to change at any time and may be modified at the discretion of the company, consistent with the terms of any applicable compensation or benefit plans.
