Job Details Job Description Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required): Knowledge of successful approaches, tools, and techniques for dealing with changes and adapting to a changing environment, ability to adapt as needed. Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems, ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations. Knowledge of, and ability to implement, the measures necessary to safeguard an organization's employees and visitors. Knowledge of and ability to employ required tools, techniques and technologies to minimize losses due to breaches of physical premises security. Understanding of the issues related to the decision-making process, ability to analyze situations fully and accurately, and reach productive decisions. Ability to work with a group to set its objectives and agenda, generate allegiance to those objectives, and guide and motivate their achievement. Knowledge of crisis management concepts and techniques, ability to predict, avert, mitigate, and recover from an event that has or could have a severely negative impact on the business. Knowledge of and ability to use tools and techniques to prepare for, mitigate, respond to and recover from an emergency. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associateas Degree in Criminal Justice or related field preferred. Security experience or prior Law Enforcement or Military experience required. Must be able to pass Physical Fitness, Psychological, and Drug testing examinations established by Jefferson for this position (all divisions). PA Armed positions only: meets the requirements of Police Academy training or meets requirements of Act 501 and Act 235F. Valid Driveras License required.
