DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This role offers interns a chance to acquire significant experience within the IT sector. Interns in the Data Administration Division will collaborate closely with the Application Development, Data, and Business Intelligence teams on a variety of projects. These projects may encompass the assessment of business outcomes, report generation, data cleansing, application development and testing, among other tasks. We invite candidates with interests in data science, business intelligence, and related analytical fields to apply.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, supporting ongoing Data Management program initiatives, engaging in critical projects centered on data analysis, data mining/reporting, application development, and ongoing process enhancements. Interns will analyze, organize, segment, and distribute raw or unprocessed data according to business requirements, demonstrate the capability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies for various initiatives, and assist in generating insights, results, and recommendations.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time internship that will run from 5/1/2025 through 8/29/2025
  • Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
  • This position requires some in office days for meetings, team building exercises, etc.
  • Some positions may require travel

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Internship Requirements:
  • Must be a high school graduate or college student enrolled (or intending to enroll) on a full-time or part-time basis in a 2- or 4- year post-secondary education program for the fall semester.
  • You must be in good academic standing (as defined by a GPA of 2.0 or higher).
  • You must be at least 18 years of age.

Special Requirement:
  • This position requires a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License

Additional Requirements:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Preferred Qualifications (not required):
  • Majoring in Computer Science, Information Science/Systems, or Mathematics/Statistics
