Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a Product Owner!

A product owner's primary responsibilities are to define user stories and create a product backlog. They serve as a primary point of contact on the customer's behalf to recognize the requirements of the product for the development team. This product backlog acts as a prioritized set of customer requirements.

Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Documents requirements, defines scope and objectives, and formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Perform a dual role of ScrumMaster and Product Owner for the scrum team
  • Collaborate with the scrum team to meet software expectations
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work meets the product strategy and business needs
  • Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
  • Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business priorities
  • Work closely with the scrum team throughout the development process
  • Schedule and lead meetings to identify issues and fixes for projects

You Must Have:

  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years experience working with Software Development projects
  • Knowledge of Scrum/Agile principles and processes
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
