Job SummaryThe Business Product Analyst creates comprehensive test plans, scripts and/or test cases to execute in-depth testing, verification, and documentation of results to ensure accurate delivery of plan requirements and services. The incumbent works closely with account leads to gather business requirements and ensure application systems are in compliance with plan design. The Incumbent is responsible for user acceptance and validation to achieve business requirements in order to reduce risk of financial penalties, audit errors, and to protect standing with contractual obligations and performance guarantees. EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Healthcare Management or related field. In lieu of degree, five (5) years' health related non-clerical experience with an insurance, managed care, healthcare or technology related organization will be considered.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum three (3) years' business systems analysis experience with a complex system technology OR applicable Masters in related field with minimum one (1) years' experience.

In-depth knowledge of insurance technology systems such as claims processing, marketing, membership, enrollment, customer service, financial and provider systems.

Experience working in the SAFe model preferred.

Skills ResponsibilitiesAssists with developing test scripts, executing test plans and maintaining test cases to assess system functionality and ensure user acceptance testing., Collaborates with various internal departments, analysts, development teams, external customers, and leadership to obtain cross functional team consensus on the interpretation of business requirements and needs., Coordinates with multiple systems teams that impact the plan including configuration of benefits, pricing, EOBs, ID cards, account structure, membership files and enrollment plus claims and service operations., Identifies and executes improvement initiatives related to the testing., In accordance with business and technical requirements, creates test plans, scripts and/or test cases to provide in-depth testing, verification, and documentation of systems errors, changes, and enhancements to ensure proper system functionality., Integrates data from multiple data sources or functional areas, ensures data accuracy and integrity, and updates data as needed to develop statistics and design methodologies to be used for decision making and new business initiatives., Performs root cause analysis, gap analysis and audits to verify workflow and identify process improvements., Prepares reports or data delivery by analyzing and summarizing the information and trends to make recommendations regarding system changes., Provides detailed documentation of system errors with an explanation of error, expected results, and any examples needed to resolve the error utilizing the appropriate tracking method for the assigned system., Serves as a technical resource to guide the research, design, development, testing, documentation, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems to meet business needs.
