Start-Up Technician

Employment/FLSA Status: Full-time

Locations: Dallas, TX or Houston, TX

As a Commercial Kitchen Service Technician, your duties will include:

- Verifying proper installation of heating and cooling equipment (e.g., pitch on drain lines, pitch on coils).

- Installing thermostats and wiring low-voltage controls.

- Evacuating systems and testing them to ensure proper functioning.

- Checking gas pressures and refrigerant levels, and making necessary adjustments.

- Conducting routine maintenance, service, and repair of various commercial HVAC systems, with a focus on large RTUs, chillers, boilers, and VRFs.

- Performing start-up and commissioning procedures to optimize the performance of HVAC equipment.

- Diagnosing and troubleshooting HVAC system problems and providing effective solutions.

- Collaborating with clients and internal teams to plan and execute service and maintenance schedules.

- Adhering to safety protocols and industry standards for all service and repair activities.

- Maintaining accurate records of service work performed and parts used.

- Providing excellent customer service and maintaining positive client relationships.
