Join our growing Talamore Senior Living Location as a full-time LPN! 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM (32-40 hours per week) Weekdays, Every Other Weekend, and Rotating Holidays .

LPN Job Details:

  • Hours: Full-time, M-TH 9:30am - 6:00pm / Every other Weekend and Holiday
  • Pay: $25 - $30 / hour

LPN Responsibilities:

  • LPN assures residents maintain admission criteria, monitor, and recommend alternative placement if necessary.
  • Assures residents have up to date care plans per state regulations
  • Monitors and maintains resident charts and clinical progress notes.
  • Communicates to physicians, staff and family changes in resident's needs or conditions.
  • Facilitates coordination of resident services with other service providers.
  • Oversees medications and renewals and any necessary follow-up with physicians about medications and/or medical conditions.
  • Assures that medication administration procedures are followed properly and discusses any needed corrections, errors, etc., with staff.
  • Communicates in resident's log any information that staff need to be aware of.
  • LPN provides alternating supervisory visits in coordination with the RN.
  • Supervises medication practices and medical equipment being used in the building.
  • Assures that staff clearly understand and follow all resident care procedures.
  • Shares resident and family concerns with pertinent staff if appropriate.

LPN Qualifications:

  • Maintains a current state license as an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) per state regulations
  • A minimum of one year's experience in home health, assisted living or long-term care is preferred
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to self-start and follow through with initiatives with a minimal amount of supervision
  • Exhibits a caring heart with a passion to care for the elderly

Working Hours

Typically, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM weekdays/weekends/holidays. The LPN will be required to work beyond the normal schedule which includes weekends and holidays.
