Job Title: Contracts Specialist II Location: Mettawa, IL 60045 Duration: Contract is through the end of December - no plan on an extension. Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 4 days onsite. Schedule: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, 9:00 am -5:00 pm. Description: We are seeking an expert Contract Specialist Contractor with a background in market research, data, and analytics contracts to manage and execute quick-turn projects under tight deadlines. This role involves high-stakes negotiations and requires someone capable of delivering significant savings while maintaining quality and compliance. Exceptional consultation and stakeholder engagement skills are crucial. Key Responsibilities: Work closely with stakeholders to swiftly execute contracting projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Provide expert consultation services on contract management, focusing on market research, data, and analytics. Scrutinize Statements of Work (SOW) to identify and capitalize on cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service excellence. Lead negotiations to secure favorable terms and strong SLAs (Service Level Agreements) in high-pressure settings. Monitor and report on contract statuses, providing insightful updates and recommendations to the Category Associate Director. Manage and prioritize tasks effectively, balancing simultaneous projects under tight timelines. Implement process improvements and cost-saving strategies without compromising quality or compliance. Qualifications: Extensive contracting experience in the biopharmaceutical or healthcare industries. Expertise in negotiating SOWs related to market research, data, and analytics.
