Hill International is seeking an Office Engineer in Los Angeles, California


  • Maintain organized and detailed design and construction files, project records and logs
  • Support the Design and Construction groups as needed
  • Oversee and review design changes and daily field construction reports
  • Track, document and manage project issues and conditions, including the management of the construction Request for Information (RFI) and submittal process
  • Provide and coordinate technical and administrative information to others working on a project to ensure that the work complies with all engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design instructions
  • 5-15 years or more experience, preferably on transportation projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or other related field
  • Licensed Engineer (preferably by CA Board of Engineers) is preferred
  • Optional Certifications may include CCM, PMP, etc., and/or any other relevant Professional Licensure or Certification
  • Must be have a self-starter attitude with proactive, results-oriented focus; and willing and capable to assume additional responsibilities
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Must be able to interface with a variety of people with different technical levels and educational backgrounds; must be detail-oriented and highly organized; and must be able to produce accurate and timely results while maintaining a positive customer-service attitude
  • Must possess a "can-do" attitude: able to produce consistently accurate results at a fast pace
  • Must be detail oriented and highly organized
  • Work in LA 4 days a week

The salary range for this position is $125,000-$175,000. The offered salary will be based on the applicants qualifications, education, experience and work location.
