Why do we need you ?

As the Development Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and managing new customer product programs, from prototype validation to full-scale production. While our business serves various end markets, this position will primarily focus on Aviation and Aerospace customers. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring the progress of multiple development initiatives to ensure successful outcomes that support profitable business growth.

Your strong leadership skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional and technical teams will be essential in driving the growth and success of our new product and development programs. This role reports directly to our Segment Leader and is based on-site.

Key responsibilities will include:

* develop and implement plans for program execution,

* collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor program health,

* ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives,

* monitor the progress of development initiatives and provide regular updates to stakeholders,

* manage program budgets and resources to ensure efficient and effective program delivery,

* monitor and report on monthly variance to plan, ensure accurate resource loading to plan,

* work closely with the development engineering, manufacturing and customer teams to ensure program execution to plan,

* understand and be able to identify key schedule risks and ensure risk is minimized

* Interaction with customer organization to collect information needed to keep project on tracks

Required



  • 5+ years' Experience In a Project Management, Development Engineering and/or Manufacturing Engineering function in a manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years' experience Demonstrated track record identifying and implementing projects
  • Must have initiative, strong organizational and decision-making skills, and a high degree of customer orientation.
  • Ability to implement change in a department to align with the company vision
  • Ability to lead in a team-based environment and to work collaboratively to solve problems
  • Demonstrated track record of planning and driving program execution for complex development activities
  • Expertise in problem solving methodologies and continuous improvement techniques (ie. six sigma, lean manufacturing, kaizen or World Class Manufacturing)
  • Ability to implement change in a department to align with the company vision
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies


Preferred



  • 3+ years' Experience in Aerospace related Manufacturing Environment
  • Experience in composite or plastic manufacturing

Certain states require pay information be provided in job postings. Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees' wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the local pay range for this position, which is $87,500 to $135,500 per annum. The base pay offered can vary depending on location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 10% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $87,500 to $151,700. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
