Simply put, our mission is to Teach, Heal, Discover, and Serve. We are seeking an energetic Veterinary Assistant to join our passionate Oncology service. The mission of our Oncology team is to provide state-of-the-art, compassionate cancer care for animals and to teach veterinary students, interns and residents about safe and proper diagnostics and treatments. In addition, we strive to advance evidence-based cancer medicine among all species with an emphasis in our research on comparative medicine. The service focuses on a team approach and seek a new member to join us in providing crucial services to our clients and patients. Veterinary Assistant Job Responsibilities May Include:
Veterinarians throughout the Midwest refer animal clients to the Veterinary Health Center for specialized diagnoses and treatment. With sophisticated therapeutic equipment that includes an underwater treadmill, advanced imaging techniques, and groundbreaking equine lameness diagnostic equipment, we are a center for animal healthcare. Shift
Full-time 40 hours per week with typical hours being Monday through Friday, between 8a and 5p. Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in a veterinary medical center is desirable, but not required. Successful candidate will exhibit the following skills and competencies:

Salary: $15.00/hour Benefit Eligibility
