Join our team at John Zink Hamworthy Combustion in Tulsa, OK as a Production Supervisor, where you'll lead a high-volume production team in a fast-paced environment, emphasizing safety, quality, production, and cleanliness. Applying Koch's framework and philosophy, you'll guide your team in making operational decisions that maximize value while maintaining adherence to the company's risk philosophy. With your expertise in personnel allocation, skills assessment, and effective communication, you'll ensure seamless workflow, talent development, and continuous improvement, driving success for our operations!

First Shift: Monday - Friday

What You Will Do

* Apply Koch's framework and philosophy to develop their team.
* Lead a production team who manages a high volume of workflow in a fast-paced environment with an emphasis on safety, quality, production, and cleanliness.
* Applying judgement, critical and economic thinking skills, and the sense of urgency necessary to make operational decisions consistent with the company's risk philosophy that create the greatest value.
* Allocating personnel resources as needed during shift (i.e., shift maintenance) - determine if additional personnel is required for call-ins and if so, allocate resources accordingly.
* Maintaining a high-level knowledge of work processes, ensuring that crew members have access to information regarding operational procedures to aid in problem-solving and troubleshooting.
* Participating in skills qualification and knowledge evaluation assessments for operators to assist in talent gap closure plans and ensure timely skills advancement and learning.
* Assisting in managing competing priorities in a flow-to-work environment and providing on-shift coaching and feedback to staff and support personnel.
* Utilizing effective communication, interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills to acquire, share, and apply knowledge (including effective measures) to improve decisions and results.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* Leadership experience coaching team members on their performance and helping to improve overall individual and team performance.
* Experience using Microsoft Applications: Word (typing documents), Excel (pulling reports & entering data), PowerPoint (giving presentations) & Outlook (sending emails)

What Will Put You Ahead

* Three (3) or more years of supervisory experience in an industrial, manufacturing or military environment.
