Position title:
Assistant of Associate Professor in the Health Sciences Clinical Series - Section of Prosthodontics
Salary range:
The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table #5, scale 0 and 4. The salary range for this position is $127,000 - $173,500. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan- APM-670, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation. The UCLA School of Dentistry offers additional $5,000 in base salary compensation on top of the published salary scales for all clinical faculty.

Position description

The UCLA School of Dentistry, Division of Regenerative and Reconstructive Sciences, Section of Prosthodontics, invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure position at the junior to mid-career level of Health Sciences Clinical Professor (Assistant or Associate Professor). This full-time, clinical track position is available immediately and the search will remain open until the position has been filled.

Primary responsibilities of the position include didatic and clinical teaching of undergraduate dental students and postdoctoral programs. In addition, the individual will participate and engage in research/scholarship consistent with their professional goals and program needs, as well as contribute service to the school and profession.

Applicants must possess: (1) a DMD/DDS degree or equivalent, and are eligible to obtain a California license (2) a certificate in Prosthodontics from an institution accredited by COD, and (3) be board certified or board eligible in Prosthodontics. Board Certification is highly preferred. (4) proficient knowledge and experiences in digital dentistry. The individual needs to demonstrate commitment to diversity-related teaching/research/service. Salary is commensurate with education and experience. The annual base salary range for this position will be $127,000 - $173,500. Other compensation associate with this position may derive from clinical services.

Qualifications
Basic qualifications

  • DMD/DDS degree or equivalent, and eligible to obtain a California License
