Job Overview:

Field Service Technician is a key appointment within Milton Roy Global Service network and will be both responsible for supporting field technical support and customer training across the Americas. Working in conjunction with the Regional and Technical Sales Managers the SE will contact the end user directly to offer: On-site Training, Troubleshooting, & Start-Up help. The Americas Region covers the USA, Canada and Latin America.
The role will also support the Milton Roy Channel partners on any technical issues of pumps and be the go to person for any interface between them and our centers of excellence for products.

Responsibilites:

* Collaborate with the sales team to create demand for Maintenance Contracts; Spare Parts, Commissioning Support and Field Service opportunities
* Maximize aftermarket business by executing growth initiative
* Be the first escalation point for Authorized Service Centers (ASC) within the region
* Coordinate Repair, Service and Maintenance Agreements with the ASC
* Provide Technical Support & Trouble shooting to end users and channel partners
* Provides technical assistance on equipment pre-commissioning and start-ups, installations and repairs of Milton Roy product portfolio. Including "hands-on" work to assure equipment operates to customer's requirement with limited guidance
* Deliver technical training to both end users and channel partners in addition to internal sales team members, as needed
* Support the continued implementation of mapping installed base
* Maintains rapport with customers by addressing complaints, identifying solutions, suggesting improved methods and techniques and recommending system improvements.
* Effectively communicates verbally and in writing with customers and co-workers in English and Spanish (preferred)
* Providing information to other functions in the organization and participation in warranty evaluations
* Ensure compliance with EHS procedures
* This position is physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, and kneeling. It requires employees to regularly lift and or move weight limits in line with the safety policy of at least 35 lbs or more individually.
* This position requires working in diverse conditions, at times requiring analysis and troubleshooting, including but not limited to mechanical equipment rooms with exposure to noisy operating equipment, exposure to extreme weather conditions, and precarious places.

Educational Requirements:

* AA/AS degree or Technical Trade Certification; with 5-10+ years' of relevant functional experience
* BA/BS degree (In Engineering preferred); with 2-5+ years' of relevant functional experience

* Knowledge & experience in Oil & Gas and Water & General Industries Market preferred
* Knowledge & experience Aftermarket & OEM Manufacturer experience preferred
* Knowledge & experience Negotiation Skills preferred
* Technical Knowledge & experience in Field Service Engineering required
* Experience with Positive Displacement Pumps preferred

The candidate is expected being fluent in the following languages:

* English
* Spanish preferred

Travel Requirements:

* The role's primary responsibility could result in travel to anywhere within the region, but usually within the Eastern Hemisphere
* Daily travel to customer sites, occasional need to support customer outside of normal business hours, and sporadic on-call emergency service is required to meet customers' needs.
* Valid passport required
* Travel expectation is about 50%
* Valid drivers license required
