Job Summary The Global Supply Chain intern will work closely with Sourcing Category Managers to identify and execute strategic projects supporting the Global Supply Chain Department. They will utilize Excel and Oracle to create spreadsheets and standardized reports. They will interact with cross-functional teams including site Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing, and Sales to communicate and execute projects. This is an in-person internship. You will be required to work at our Buffalo, NY office. Essential Job Functions 1. Partner with Category Managers and Vice President of Supply Chain to work on projects identifying sourcing opportunity assessments, RFP projects, and preparation for price negotiations 2. Assist with establishment of key process indicator (KPI) scorecards related to vendor performance 3. Partner with Buffalo Supply Chain team to assist with projects focusing on process improvement and KPI management 4. Assist with creation of Sourcing Category scorecards 5. Participate in RFP analysis and engagement 6. Assist Category Managers with special projects Requirements The candidate should be currently enrolled or a recent college graduate with a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or a related field. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Candidate needs to have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications to integrate activities into various systems. Ability to calculate figures and analyze data. Experience working effectively within and without formal lines of authority to accomplish goals. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, Access, and Project. Strong communication and influence attributes, and skills with economic cost/benefit analysis. Why Intern with Summer 2025?
