Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC handles end-to-end warehousing and distribution logistics needs utilizing our strategic network of storage facilities. Key responsibilities

  • Perform standard daily duties of regional desk ownership including reporting, proactive notification of issues to customers, timely communication of support needed from other internal parties, and consistent stakeholder management when deemed needed.

  • Attend/facilitate stakeholder meetings (internal/external) on behalf of Landside Execution.

  • Develop and regularly maintain SOPs - customer specific, terminal/rail specific, internal process specific as examples. SOPs should be shared with relevant parties and housed in an accessible platform such as MS Teams or Share point.

  • Provide regular contingency reporting and information for relevant stakeholders (internal/external) on a regular and consistent cadence during times of exceptional volumes, congestion, or other influencing factors within regional desk scope.

  • Support in onboarding of new customers/new customer lanes within desk scope

  • Provide vendor support via emails, IM's, calls and relaying information relevant to the inland store door movement.

  • Use critical thinking to solve complex exceptions and find opportunities to prevent or improve processes for the future.

  • Maintain collaborative relationship with other internal teams to better support the customer experience.

  • Learn and maintain proficiency in the following systems: Excel

  • Salesforce Case Management - dashboards and reporting

  • CODs

  • Landside Power BI Dashboards

Required experience & skills

  • +1 year experience in Landside logistics (inland transportation) in North America

  • Customer service experience considered a plus

  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English, other languages a plus

  • Professional career degree

  • Outstanding organizational and customer focus skills

  • Teamwork and interpersonal savvy

  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills

  • Process improvement skills

  • Solid computer skills (including but not limited to Microsoft Office suite)

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in related field such as: logistics, business, supply chain management, customer service

Pay Range:

$25.00 - $30.00*

*The above-stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
