Plan Reviewer
Responsibilities The Plan Reviewer is responsible for evaluating construction plans, specifications, and associated documentation to ensure compliance with all residential building codes, particularly the Federal Manufactured Housing Construction and Safety Standards ("HUD Code"). This is a 100% REMOTE position. This role involves detailed analyses of architectural, mechanical, electrical, energy, plumbing systems, and fire safety requirements to confirm adherence to the Federal Standards and Regulations governing manufactured homes. The Plan Reviewer collaborates with other team members and regulatory agencies to identify failures to conform and recommend corrective actions. This position requires technical expertise in building codes, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail to ensure safe construction.
Works with team members to coordinate and complete assignments to ensure smooth operation of design review monitoring and other HUD contract activities.
