Internal Sales Executive - Workforce Health Solutions

The Internal Sales Executive (Workforce Health Solutions) will target and secure profitable new business through inbound sales leads and by building relationships and aligning with marketing strategies. This role will primarily handle inbound leads for smaller companies/organizations (1,000 - 5,000 employees). They will also assist the Workforce Health Solutions Account Executives with hunting and prospecting new business (cold-calling).

This is a remote inside sales position.


  • Target and secure profitable new business in line with Employer Solutions marketing strategy by effectively handling prospective clients, creating in-depth prospect profiles, building relationships, and securing the business.
  • Provide overall support and expertise to new accounts for 12 full months to ensure clients receive highest level of quality service utilizing operational personnel to resolve problems when necessary.
  • Partner with customer service personnel to effectively transition the customer relationship responsibilities after 12 months.
  • Educate new customers on all Quest Diagnostics' processes and procedures to ensure accurate and timely transactions.
  • Prepare and present proposals and bids by using all standard processes, procedures and templates.
  • Stay abreast of changes in the marketplace impacting customers. Maintain a working knowledge of company products and those of competitors and share this information with sales leadership.
  • Ensure total compliance with all company policies and government regulations.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by manager.

Required Work Experience:

Minimum 1-2 years business-to-business sales experience.

Knowledge:

Knowledge of the health/wellness industry and general economics of business.

Skills

  • Solid PC skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent phone skills and follow up.
  • Strong e-mail and organizational skills including time management proficiency.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task high volumes of day- to- day work.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree Required
