Position Summary The incumbent's primary function is to design, support and secure the organization's primary storage and backup systems. This position will contribute to the efforts of safeguarding the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the enterprise data across the Medical Center. The incumbent will work on developing and implementing a plan to further harden the security posture of the storage and backup infrastructure. The incumbent will ensure that all data is being securely stored with the appropriate levels of encryption. They will ensure geo-redundancy for all mission critical data and will schedule routine failover testing. The successful incumbent will possess outstanding communication skills while adhering to our high standard of excellence. They will be responsible for training and developing staff to align with the core goals of the newly developed Storage Program. Additionally, they will play a critical role in working with the Cloud team to develop a roadmap and implementation strategy for Hybrid Cloud Storage. Anticipated Pay Range: The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position is - $124848 - $140454/ year. The above salary range represents SBUH's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. The specific salary offer will be based on the candidate's validated years of comparable experience.
